As Spring warms, the invasive plants begin to show their green leaves. Our HIPP volunteers are eager to begin work on controlling invasive plants in Harpswell. We plan a work day at Curtis Farm Preserve on Saturday, May 7 at 9:00 a.m. to remove brush previously treated invasive growth. Another work opportunity is planned for Saturday, May 28 at Johnson Field on Bailey Island, also at 9:00 a.m. RSVP to [email protected] if you wish to participate.
