WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 21: JOHNSON FIELD

The work day begins at 9:00 a.m. at Johnson Field (25 Abner Point Road, Bailey Island). We have tools and gloves, but you can also bring your own. Bittersweet is the target for the morning. RSVP to [email protected].

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 24: CURTIS FARM

A morning’s work at Curtis Farm Preserve (1554 Harpswell Neck Road, Harpswell) begins at 9:00 a.m. We will be tackling a variety of invasive plants north of the parking area: bittersweet, honeysuckle and multiflora rose. Tools and gloves are provided, or bring your own. RSVP to [email protected].

WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 12: OTTER BROOK

Our day begins at 8:30 at the Otter Brook Preserve (429 Harpswell Neck Road, Harpswell). We will work on the bittersweet near the North Loop portion of the trail. Meet in the parking area at 8:30. We will have tools and gloves, or bring your own. RSVP to [email protected].
