Try, try again! HIPP has set Monday, June 19 as the make-up date for our work day at Houghton Graves Park on Orr’s Island. We plan to meet at 8:30 a.m. to tackle loosestrife and Canada thistle. An introductory tour of the park may turn up other invasive plants we can attack. Plan on joining our volunteers to see what HIPP does, learn about identifying invasive plants, and meet others interested in making room for native plants to flourish in our town. Bring water and insect repellant. Tools are provided, or bring your own.
