The rainy forecast for Saturday, October 21, has caused a postponement for our Curtis Farm work event. When the forecast is better, we will reschedule. In the meantime, keep on battling invasive plants. Autumn is a great time to spot the bittersweet (all those yellow leaves on vines in your trees!) and burning bush (bright red fall color, on shrubs with “winged” stems). To learn more about the plants on your property, schedule a HIPP-help visit! Email [email protected] to set up a home visit from one of our HIPP team members.

Euonymus alatus, aka burning bush.
