On Saturday May 17 at 10:00 AM, HIPP will participate in the Town of Harpswell’s upcoming program “The Power of Plants”.   The program is the third in the “Water Wise” series that the town has conducted and is sponsored by Harpswell’s Conservation Commission.  As described on the Town’s website, the program “will highlight how you can harness “The Power of Plants” on your property. It will feature presentations by industry experts followed by demonstrations and exhibits that will focus on the benefits of keeping water on your land and which plants are best suited for the job.”

HIPP will be available at this event to answer questions about the importance of proactively addressing invasive plants, and to promote HIPP’s free “HIPP-help” service.  HIPP-help is available to assist residents with identifying invasive plants on their own properties and suggest strategies for addressing them.

For more information about HIPP-help please checkout HIPP’s Resources page.
